Subaru Sea Otter Classic

Known as the ultimate “celebration of cycling,” this four-day event in the rolling coastal hills near Monterey brings more than 10,000 athletes and 65,000 fans together for an action-packed series of road racing and mountain biking contests. Everyone from Olympians to fearless children take part in events ranging from tensely contested races to mud-splattered recreational mountain bike rides for all ages and abilities.  

Gear enthusiasts also zero in on the event’s massive consumer bike expo, with vendors selling bikes, parts, clothing and more. And you can enjoy an international food court, entertainment, bike demonstrations, stunt shows and funfair activities.
